The Finishing Touch That Defines the Room
Crown molding is the transition between wall and ceiling — and in a room with great bones, it's the detail that makes those bones undeniable. Our solid wood crown profiles range from spare cove to full classical cornice.
Crown Profiles for Every Architectural Style
All profiles are available in any species. Prices shown are for painted poplar — a premium for hardwood species.

What to Know Before You Install
Measure the Room
Calculate perimeter in linear feet, adding 15% for waste at corners. We supply cut lists on request.
Acclimate the Wood
Store unfinished molding in the installation space for 3–5 days before cutting. This prevents shrinkage after installation.
Cope or Miter?
Coped joints are more durable than miters at inside corners — they won't open as wood moves seasonally. We always recommend coping for paint-grade work.
Nail into Studs
Crown is nailed to both wall plates and ceiling joists. Never rely on adhesive alone — it will fail as the wood moves.
