Wood Species
We offer domestic and imported species including White Oak, Red Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Alder, Poplar, Douglas Fir, and more. We can source specialty species on request. All wood is kiln-dried to 6–8% moisture content before milling.
A solid wood door is constructed entirely from real wood — either a single thick piece or multiple pieces laminated for stability. A solid core door has a wood or composite core (MDF or particleboard) wrapped in a wood veneer. We make only solid wood doors. Solid core doors are a budget alternative but will not hold the same character, weight, or lifespan.
Ask us about FSC-certified sourcing for your project. Availability depends on the species and quantity, and we will tell you up front what documentation we can provide.
Ordering & Lead Times
Lead times vary by product and order size. Contact us for current turnaround on your specific project.
Absolutely. We offer a sample pack with chips of our most popular species in our standard stain finishes. Sample packs are available on request. Request yours on our Finishes page or contact us.
Custom Sizing
Yes — all our doors can be made to any custom size. We commonly produce oversized entry doors (8'×4', 10'×5', and larger), low-clearance interior doors, and any width/height combination needed for historic renovation or custom architecture.
For a replacement, measure the existing door's height, width, and thickness — not the opening. Standard US interior doors are 80" tall and 24"–36" wide in 2" increments, 1-3/8" thick. Exterior doors are typically 1-3/4" thick. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll walk you through it.
Finishes
We offer raw/unfinished, shop-primed, painted (any Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams color), and stained/topcoated in dozens of standard stain colors. Custom finish matching is available.
Fire-Rated Doors
Yes. We manufacture UL-listed fire-rated solid wood doors in 20, 45, 60, and 90-minute ratings. These are code-compliant for commercial and residential applications and available in our standard species and finishes.
Shipping & Delivery
Yes. We ship to all 48 contiguous states via our freight partners. Doors are custom-crated and wrapped for safe transit. White-glove delivery with threshold placement is available in most major metro areas.
Trade Program
Yes. We have a dedicated trade program with discounted pricing, dedicated account management, discounted pricing, and access to our full spec library. Apply online or contact us directly.
Warranty
We offer a workmanship warranty on all doors and moldings — covering joinery, panel movement, and structural integrity. Warranty claims are handled directly by our team; no third-party runaround.
Installation
We do not directly employ installers, but we can refer you to trusted local installers in the New York area. Contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Moldings Pricing
Moldings are priced per linear foot, with species and profile as the key variables. Pricing varies by species, profile complexity, and order volume — contact us for a quote
